They currently serve as leaders of EQUIP Britain International, an immersive, hands-on mission training opportunity in Birmingham, one of the most diverse cities in the world. Their time in England, living among the people they are called to serve, has taught them much about the art of hospitality.

Serving and Dreaming of Possibilities in Brazil

For the third straight year, several Globalscope campus ministries from Latin America have teamed up to travel to a different location to serve together. It’s called Proyecto La Paz and each year has been a new and amazing experience. In January students and staff from our ministries in Chile, Uruguay, and Mexico travelled to Brazil where they served with an existing CMF ministry and dreamed about starting a new one.

Christmas in War-torn Ukraine

June Johnson has been in Germany for the last year, caring for Ukrainian refugees displaced due to the war, but generous partners are allowing her to continue to support the churches still serving the hurting in Ukraine. June says that the local church in Ukraine is showing those in grief and anger, lonely and without, in fear and fatigue, God’s love in tangible ways.

Tim Ross while serving in Kenya

Tim Ross returns to service with CMF

Tim Ross is many things: a pastor, professor, missionary, husband, dad, and citizen of the Cherokee Nation. In the 1980’s and 90’s, Tim and his family served as CMF missionaries among the Maasai of Kenya and upon returning to the US, he served as pastor of the Hopwood Christian Church at Milligan University for the next 27 years. Tim is an instructor at Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan and a consultant with NAIITS, a seminary created by Christians of the First Nations.

Taking God’s Trip to Kenya

Dr. Suzie Snyder spent 16 years as a missionary with CMF providing medical care and sharing the love of Christ with the Maasai people of Kenya. Suzie, her husband, and a group of healthcare professionals recently traveled to Kenya and served the Maasai in a number of ways. For several months, only she and her husband had signed up for the trip they were trying to organize, but she put it in God’s hands, calling it “God’s Trip.” Soon they would have a wonderful team from across the U.S. raising funds and preparing to go. Teaching as Missions: A Unique Way to Serve Internationally

Did you know that there are many ways to serve in international missions, beyond the more traditional sense of planting churches? One of the many roles to play as an international missionary is teacher. For years, CMF has partnered with Bingham Academy, a Christian school in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, sending qualified teachers to educate students from Ethiopia and all over the world, sharing the love of Jesus in this way. Several other CMF missionaries have taught in other contexts all over the world, from local schools to homeschooling other missionaries’ children.
