Meet Ti and Andrea Dinh: Taking the Next Step to Serve in Kenya
For nearly a decade, Ti and Andrea Dinh have been exploring God’s call to missions through short-term service opportunities around the world. Since 2017, their family has served in countries including Thailand, Mexico, Chile, and most recently Kenya, where a partnership trip through Eastside Christian Church introduced them to the life-changing ministry of Missions of Hope International (MOHI).
What they experienced in Kenya left a lasting impression. As professionals with backgrounds in nutrition and culinary arts, the Dinhs have long understood the challenges of food insecurity and health disparities. Seeing firsthand both the realities of malnutrition and the hope that comes through Christ-centered care deepened their desire to serve vulnerable children and families in East Africa.
Now, the Dinh family is taking the next step. Through CMF and in partnership with Missions of Hope International, they are preparing to move to Nairobi, Kenya, where they will support ministry efforts focused on education, nutrition, discipleship, and community development. Their passion is to use their skills to serve alongside local leaders while continuing to learn and grow in cross-cultural ministry.
Andrea Dinh brings more than a decade of experience as a nutritionist and business leader. She founded and led Amani Sports Nutrition, building relationships with hundreds of clients while helping them pursue healthier lives. She has also served directly with MOHI, leading nutrition assessment teams and helping develop sustainable nutrition intervention strategies for children facing malnutrition in Kenya.
Ti Dinh is an accomplished chef, entrepreneur, and business owner with more than 13 years of culinary experience. He founded and operated successful meal preparation and catering businesses, developing innovative programs that served families with a variety of nutritional needs. His background in hospitality, leadership, and business management will be a valuable asset as he serves alongside ministry partners in Kenya.
Joining them on this journey are their children, David and Emma, who will experience firsthand both the joys and challenges of serving as a missionary family. Together, the Dinhs look forward to building relationships, sharing God’s love, and participating in the work He is already doing throughout Kenya.
