Australia REACH interns connect with youth in church and public school
REACH interns Anna Woolf and Anna Grover are spending the summer “down under” in the city of Melbourne, Australia, with CMF team member Abby Weller. Abby’s ministry is centered in the hyper-diverse, low-socio-economic suburb of Dandenong, where she works with young people in her partner church’s youth group and in the local public school. Here’s an update from Anna Woolf about their first week in Australia:

Kayla Dean grew up in a missionary family in Ecuador, but it was a Samaritan’s Purse shoebox-packing event that rekindled her desire for cross-cultural work as a young adult.
Retreat brings joy and community to The Garden campus ministry
While the month of May has been “an absolutely amazing, joyful month of ministry at The Garden in Brisbane, Australia, the high was the recent retreat,” reports campus minister Emily Abernathy.

Spring break trip helps young family build a house!
What did you do on your spring break?
Five Globalscope campus ministers and six students from the El Pozo ministry in Puebla, Mexico, used their break to build a house for a young family in need.

Euroscope brings campus ministers together to strengthen community
Euroscope, the annual gathering of Globalscope campus ministers serving in Europe, was held in Nottingham, England, in April, and Christine Barber and her team can now breathe a sigh of relief that all went well.
Ministry Position: Disciple-maker, Chiang Mai, Thailand
This well-established team is looking for individuals with a heart for meeting with non-believers and helping them understand God using Disciple Making Movement (DMM) strategies. The Chiang Mai, Thailand, team is currently implementing these strategies within the city by joining interest groups in order to build relationships with non-believers.
Turkana woman launches business making ‘Days for Girls’ kits
A Turkana woman has completed the certification training to make Days for Girls menstrual hygiene kits in Nairobi, Kenya, and opened her own workshop in Napusimoru, according to CMF team member Caitlin Pitts.
