Several home groups in the capital city of a northeastern African
country meet weekly in sweet fellowship, hungering and thirsting
for the Word of God. Yet, outside their doors is a country impoverished
from years of war, churches closed and barred from use, and
a repressive government that persecutes the Christians within
its borders. CMF marketplace workers serve in this country with
skills in medicine and education that encourage an oppressed
people, while also bringing light into the spiritual darkness.
Each marketplace worker shepherds and trains leaders for the
home Bible study groups.

Medical personnel are needed to improve the general health of
the people. Teachers and professors for universities and medical
schools are needed to improve education in every area of life.
Professionals are needed for entrepreneurial opportunities and
for specialized fields of animal husbandry, agriculture, community
development, and community health. Jesus Christ is needed for
the hearts and souls of the people.
