Several home groups in the capital city of a northeastern African country meet weekly in sweet fellowship, hungering and thirsting for the Word of God. Yet, outside their doors is a country impoverished from years of war, churches closed and barred from use, and a repressive government that persecutes the Christians within its borders. CMF marketplace workers serve in this country with skills in medicine and education that encourage an oppressed people, while also bringing light into the spiritual darkness. Each marketplace worker shepherds and trains leaders for the home Bible study groups.



Medical personnel are needed to improve the general health of the people. Teachers and professors for universities and medical schools are needed to improve education in every area of life. Professionals are needed for entrepreneurial opportunities and for specialized fields of animal husbandry, agriculture, community development, and community health. Jesus Christ is needed for the hearts and souls of the people.
