What If Your Skills Are Exactly What’s Needed?

Around the world, God is at work—on university campuses, in clinics, in community centers, and in neighborhoods where hope is growing in visible and tangible ways. And in many of those places, there’s a common thread: a need for people willing to step in, serve faithfully, and use the gifts God has already given them.

At CMF, those opportunities take many forms. You’ll find roles centered on discipling students, building relationships, and cultivating community across cities in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. You’ll also find opportunities for those with experience in areas like administration, counseling, education, business, healthcare, and communications—roles that strengthen, support, and expand what God is already doing through ministry teams.

In places like Chile, the Netherlands, and Kenya, teams are looking for people who can invest in students, create environments of belonging, and help others explore faith. In other contexts, there are needs for individuals who can bring practical skills to complex challenges—walking alongside ministries in ways that are both relational and professional.

Some roles involve launching new initiatives. Others focus on building on what is already in place. But all of them share a common purpose: joining in God’s work and helping create spaces where people can experience His love and transformation.

Many of these opportunities don’t require a “missions” background. They call for faithfulness, adaptability, and a willingness to use your skills in a different context. Whether your experience is in teaching, mentoring, organizing, problem-solving, or caring for others, there may be a place for you to contribute in meaningful ways.

So what might that look like?

It could mean mentoring university students who are far from home and looking for community.
It could mean helping a ministry team operate more effectively day to day.
It could mean using your professional experience in a way that opens doors for relationships and long-term impact.

Each role plays a part in a much larger story—one of lives changed, community formed, and the gospel expressed in everyday moments.
