You can serve in campus ministry while studying internationally.
Our Globalscope program is your opportunity to serve with a cutting-edge campus ministry and have the support of a Christian community during your exchange semester.
As an exchange intern serving with the ministry, you will be an integral part of building new relationships with national students on campus. You will also enjoy these benefits:
A: The cost of your semester overseas will be determined by your university’s program in that country. The only fee associated with our program is a $200 deposit. Go here for a more detailed explanation and some sample cost projections.
A: This will depend on your university study abroad program and their policies. It is best that you speak with the study abroad office, as well as the financial aid office at your university.
A: Your U.S. university study abroad office will provide information on the classes that you can take while abroad. Transferring courses will be different for each home or foreign university. Please view the course catalog for the university you will attend and schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss your options for credit transfer.
A: Globalscope staff can help you enroll as an independent student in a foreign university. You will still need to meet with an academic advisor to discuss your options for credit transfer.
A: This will vary depending on your study abroad program, but typical options include dormitory-style housing, host families, apartment with other students or the campus house.
A: You are encouraged to find partners in prayer as well as financial supporters. You will be allowed to raise funds through CMF for all of your costs except for tuition and other school-related fees. If you are interested in more details about support raising, please email the Exchange Coordinator or call 317.578.2700.
A: Applications for the U.S. fall 2021 semester are due December 31, 2020. Go here for more specific information.
A: We want this experience to be as fulfilling as possible for you. We ask you for your preferred ministry because we believe that your passion for a location, paired with our ministries’ needs, creates a profound and rewarding experience for everyone involved. Occasionally there is a greater need in some locations than others, and if the situation arises that we need you elsewhere, we will ask you to pray with us in considering new and different opportunities.
A: The first step is to complete the pre-application online. Once that form is submitted, the full application will be emailed to you by the Globalscope staff. You will be required to return this completed application along with a $25 application fee before the posted deadlines.
