Global Sending Fund
you can help raise up and send out 75 new Kenyan missionaries with the good news of jesus!
God has given our team a vision for the next phase of missions in Kenya - to see Kenya transition from a country that receives missionaries and mission support, to a country that sends missionaries and mission support.
We are watching God raise up a new generation of missionaries that will go from Africa to the world. That’s why we are launching the KCAT Global Sending Fund. This fund will help us send missionaries “from everywhere to everywhere.”
Our team goal is to raise $750,000 above our regular, sustaining ministry budgets over the next five years!
The KCAT Global Sending Fund will provide resources to:
- Mobilize 3 new international KCAT Teammates
- Mobilize 75 Kenyan international and cross-cultural missionaries over the next 15 years
- Ignite the missional vision in Kenya and build the generosity of the Kenyan Church
- Establish sustainable infrastructure for sending Kenyan missionaries
Will you join the vision? Step out in faith with us by supporting the KCAT Global Sending Fund. Whether by giving a special gift, joining the movement as a monthly partner, or by faithfully praying for God's work through our team, you are helping launch more missionaries into the world with the good news of Jesus.

Testimonies from our future missionaries
joy becomes a light for christ
Like many teens in Kenya, Joy lives amidst a blending of worlds. Her parents have rural Maasai roots that include a strong faith in Christ, but like her peers and friends at school, she must face all the distractions and temptations of social media, secularism, and substance abuse. Joy had fallen into the wrong crowd at school and was going down a destructive path.
After a conversation with her uncle where he encouraged her to explore faith for herself, Joy entered the Kajiado Youth Leadership Development program, and it changed her life. At KYLD Joy learned alongside 20 other high school students about God’s love for her, the commission of Jesus to be his witness, and practical skills for making disciples. Joy is now a light to her school and has started two Discovery Bible Study groups.
In Joy’s own words, “I want to become a missionary and reach girls like me who are far from God.” We are excited for what God will do through Joy to reach the unreached with the good news of His love and salvation. Joy will graduate from the Kajiado Youth Leadership Development program this year and continue on the missionary pathway.
Alfred follows God's calling
Alfred has felt a call to missions since early in his life. His parents raised him in a devout Christian family, and he was very active in the Catholic church and school he attended. After completing 4 years of seminary and training for the priesthood Alfred met a CMF missionary in Kenya and began conversations about getting trained to be a missionary.
Alfred began taking classes at Harvest Missionaries College and committed to becoming a missionary. During the summer of 2026 Alfred did a REACH Internship in Tanzania with CMF missionaries and continues his journey on the Missionary Pathway.
Our missionary pathway
In recent years, the team in Kenya has developed the KCAT Missionary Pathway to identify, empower, equip, and mobilize emerging future international missionaries. We have already identified and are mentoring more than a dozen Kenyans on the pathway and are preparing them for the mission field. This pathway is a collection important steps of training, education, experience, and mentoring in the preparation process. While every potential missionary will not use every step on the pathway they will complete a journey of preparation that is right for them.
Watch Joy's testimony of how she was transformed by the love of God and is now on the Missionary Pathway to serve as a missionary herself, sharing the same love that changed her.
Thank you for sending out the next generation of missionaries from kenya!
Please join us in praying that:
- The new generation of Kenyan missionaries would be passionate about sharing God’s story
- The Lord will raise up 75 Kenyan missionaries in the next 15 years
- KCAT missionaries mentor the prospective missionaries and sending churches well
- The Lord abundantly supplies for this vision He has given us
- The Lord would help you discern what He wants you to do to move this vision forward
