Students pay close attention during a Days for Girls training recently in Turkana, Kenya.

“We had three DfG trainings in July, with about 110 students,” said Rachel. “Two of those trainings were our first with boys in attendance, and they were interactive and engaged!”

“And at one training, many of the girls brought their fathers with them!” added Rachel. “These were huge developments and a game changer for the ministry. In order to see true, lasting transformation around women’s health and feminine hygiene in Turkana, the boys and men must understand the benefits and necessities as well as the girls and women.”

These developments may seem small, but they are life-changing for the women and children in Turkana and essential in helping them understand their identity in Christ.

“Join us in continuing to pray for God’s loving transformation in the hearts, minds and actions of the men, women and children in Turkana!” said Rachel.
