A Canvas student started a food bank in the campus house to help people affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

“This student has a real passion for justice and those in need,” said campus minister Jenna Gallant. “Along with some friends, she started a food bank during the COVID-19 pandemic, delivering supplies those who are vulnerable or those who have been out of work at this time.”

As the word spread and the food supplies grew, the team needed a bigger place to store and package all the donations, so Canvas stepped up to help.

“Our Canvas House doors had been closed, but now they are open for business!” said Jenna. “The food bank runs out of our building on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please pray for this amazing team of volunteers and for the vulnerable families that they are supporting!”
