Scotland

An ancient castle sits high atop volcanic rock in the center of old Edinburgh. Glaciers and volcanoes have shaped the terrain. Generations of people have shaped the personality of Scotland’s second largest city. The historical and the modern co-exist in this beautiful European city of a half million people.

Although many travel to Edinburgh for its tourist opportunities, banking and financial services are the foundation of its current economy. Thousands study in the four universities and a variety of colleges.

Friendly locals and thousands of local and international college students make this a great place to begin a campus ministry. Our dream is to show students in Scotland that Jesus can be visible in their daily lives right now through a community that is loving, accepting, and unified in Christ.

We are forming a team that is preparing to begin ministry in Edinburgh in fall 2012. Please pray that God will open hearts, doors, and provide opportunities for us to create a warm, inviting community.
