Their work

Ken and Anita joined CMF’s church-planting team in 2010 to work among the Jula people – an unreached Muslim people group, of southern Burkina Faso, West Africa. Upon completion of their language learning, the Hochs will serve the Jula through community development work integrated with Chronological Bible Storying to begin a church-planting movement.

A closer look

In 2005, Ken graduated from Messiah College with degrees in Christian missions and English, was ordained at Ringgold Church of Christ, and began ministry as youth/missions minister at New Life Christian Church in Winchester, VA. In 2002, Anita received a master’s degree in education through Johnson Bible College, then spent a year teaching English in China. Since 2004, Anita has taught 6th grade at Mountain View Christian Academy in Winchester. Ken and Anita were married on Easter 2008, cementing their mutual calling and ministry. They have long felt God pulling them toward missionary service, and they long to see the Jula reached with the Good News!
