Over 600 packets of school materials were given out in the las Aguilas neighborhood in August 2007 to connect people with the new church in this northern neighborhood of Mexico City. Steve & Kay Carpenter and Michael Trinkle have begun ministry among the working class in conjunction with the Iglesia Cristiana del Norte -- a CMF-planted congregation. The parents are responding to this type of outreach, and worship services have begun for them and for their children. And, because of the growth, the missionaries hope to construct a church building within the next year. Todd & Tonja Hancock are serving with a church in the southern part of Mexico City, Comunidad Cristiana: El Camino (Christian Community: The Way), that seeks to grow and be a strong influence in their community for Christ.
CLAVE (Centro de los Aros para Victoria y Exito -- Center
of the Circles for Victory and Success), a community center,
provides wonderful services to the urban poor of Pachuca,
a city of one million an hour northeast of Mexico City. They
offer English classes, computer assistance, other tutorial
help, and above all endeavor to bring people to faith in Christ.
Greg & Vicki Syverson actually live in the CLAVE building,
providing oversight and organizing small groups for Bible
study.

At la casa verde (the green house), la UDLA university students in Puebla come to hang out or join the Tuesday night dinner and Bible study ... or any number of activities planned just for them. Nathan & Erin McDade, Matt & Angie Stryker, Sarah Powell, Courtney Wilson, and Harold Whitaker serve as the campus ministers. You’ll also find exchange students from US colleges and universities making friends on campus and joining in the activities at la casa verde. Called El Pozo (the well), this campus ministry provides community for students so they will develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith.
